I’ve missed you…. have you missed me? I hope so because I have lots to share with you.

Like this little cutie!

Ahhh… senior year. It is the most anticipated event in a teenager’s life – right after getting your drivers license of course!! As the school year is winding down, juniors are gearing up to take charge and lead. They just have to get through the summer. And get their pictures taken.

{Note to parents: senior pictures are nothing like the pictures we had taken!}

Meet the beautiful Madalyn – Class of 2012/Lakewood High School.

And her equally beautiful twin sister Hannah – Class of 2012/Lakewood High School.

I met these sisters in downtown St Pete. We were looking for a nice mix of parks and open space….

Parks and open space with a hint of urban flare that is!

A big thank you to Madalyn and Hannah! I loved spending time with you and getting to know both of you better.

He wasn’t the sleepiest of babies but we feed, changed and waited him out and it was worth it!

Thank you Lindsey & Patrick for letting me be part of this little guy’s first few days! You make a beautiful family.

These two need to be together! I knew from the moment I first met them. He lives here, she… well, she doesn’t. They fell in love over time, long distance, between here and Texas. And you can see it. It’s a love that radiates and warms a room. It’s a love that makes you feel like you are part of their family. It’s a love that makes you smile.

I truly enjoyed our time together in Passe – a – Grille. We walked and talked and laughed and had a great time (and I took pictures of course!) while we meandered around this wonderful little beach community.

There is almost more love than these two can handle and that’s where this cutie comes in!

She is beautiful, smart, sassy and loved.

She had all of us cracking up! She was definitely the prankster of the group.

But she has her daddy’s heart and his big smile. I can see how easy it is to love her.

I am really looking forward to shooting their wedding in October. It’s in Key West, which suits them perfectly, so it’s guaranteed to be beautiful and fun.

The vibrant downtown of St Petersburg final has a magazine to call its own. PETE Magazine promotes local businesses while introducing you to the movers and shakers and even your neighbors in the core of this dynamic city.

I’ve been shooting for PETE for a while but I am super excited about the most recent issue. Shades of Gray – A Photo Essay is filled with pages of the people that make our city interesting. And I shot them all.  Well I worked with Rearden Killion (think www.downtownstpetepage.com and www.facebook.com/downtownstpete) to work on the concepts and I took the pictures.

This is one of my favorites.

JoEllen Schilke is a community activist, radio host and business owner. For nearly 12 years she’s been serving coffee and mouth watering, soul-satisfyingly pie at her eclectic lounge The Globe Coffee Lounge.

When I found out that my friend Mary was having her 4th kid I was sooooo excited. Mary is not only an amazing mom, she also makes the most beautiful children.  If you don’t believe me you can judge for yourself.
